Donald McCartney
Donald focuses his practice on general corporate law, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, and compliance. Donald has over 20 years of experience acting as general counsel to entities based in a variety of industries. He has experience in both domestic and international operations and is adept at building strategic solutions which contribute to his client’s success.
The majority of Donald’s practice centers around the provision of outside “general counsel” services to a number of closely held businesses. By acting as outside “general counsel” Donald is extremely effective in serving his client’s needs.
He routinely works with accountants and tax counsel to provide innovative solutions to his clients, including business clients in matters such as startup entity formations, the purchase and sale of businesses and raising capital. He also assists companies with a range of ongoing contract negotiation needs, such as vendor, licensing, and customer agreements, along with a wide variety of contract matters including non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. In addition to counseling clients on corporate and business matters, Donald represents small to medium size businesses with compliance and administrative matters.
